Felix Octavius Carr Darley sketchbooks, [ca. 1840-1860].

Bound sketchbooks, including sketches for numerous book illustrations, as well as life drawings and sketches for newspapers, in pencil and charcoal. Three sketchbooks are 21 x 28 cm., the fourth one 24 x 30 cm. The sketches are mounted on heavy paper.
